Reuben Oladosu attended St. John's Anglican Primary School Ayorunbo and African church Primary School Oke-Eso in Modakeke where he passed his standard six Certificate Examination in 1956. He worked briefly with Leventis Nigeria Limited Lagos. He also worked with NEPA (now PHCN) for so many years. At PHCN he attended seminars and professional courses and rose to the management cadre as a commercial officer before he retired in 1994. He established Bendos Nursery and Primary School, Abule - Egba in 1989, BENDOS was derived from his name (REUBEN OLADOSU), He struggled tooth and nail to make sure that all his children got enrolled in the university before he died.
He changed his surname to Oyeleye on his own and his wives and children bore Oyeleye instead of Ojeleye.
He was married to Mrs. Asisat Kehinde (Nee llo) and the marriage was blessed with children such as Olugbenga Eyitayo born on 28.7.1975 (died 7.4.1993) Olufemi Adeniyi born on 19.02.1977, Olufunmilola Oyeyilola born on 6.9.1980,  Olukemi Omobolaji born on 4.10.1982. Also Oluwarotimi Ololade 3.9.1986 (but died on 11.9.1995) and Oluwagbemileke Oladipupo born on 23.10.1994. Rotimi
and Leke were from another marriage to Mrs. Lydia Oyeleye (Nee Davies). Oladosu Oyeleye died after a brief illness on 16" of July, 2007 at age 70 and was buried on 27" July 2007, at 14 Segun Alkinola Street Abule - Egba.
