John Olayiwola was a successful farmer. He was hardworking and he helped our father on his farms. He was the first to be married in the family. He married from Abepe, a nearby village to a woman called Esther.
                     It was, however, unfortunate that he had no surviving child before he died. Even though he was not sent to school he struggled on his own to be able to read and write. He resembled our mother in physical stature. He died in 1964 after a brief illness.
